Man Stabbed Trying To Break Up Domestic Dispute
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was stabbed multiple times trying to break up a fight early Friday in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.
The man, 24, was stabbed several times in the abdomen during a domestic dispute about 12:30 a.m. in the 0 – 100 block of North Pine Avenue, police said.
He had been trying to break up a fight when someone he knew stabbed him, police said.
Family members drove him to Loretto Hospital, but he was later transferred in "stable" condition to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, police said.
No on is in custody Friday morning as Area North detectives investigate.
