(CBS) The Bears announced Wednesday that they have signed offensive tackle Joe Long to a two-year contract.

The 6-5, 304-pound Long was signed by the Bears off of Pittsburgh’s practice squad where he has spent the entire 2013 regular season.

Long entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Rams in 2012 out of Wayne State. He was signed to the Steelers practice squad in November of 2012 and spent the entire offseason with Pittsburgh

Long has yet to appear in an NFL game.
