Female Hospitalized After North Side Barricade Situation
CHICAGO (CBS/STMW) -- A female was hospitalized following a barricade situation Sunday afternoon in the Rogers Park neighborhood on the North Side.
Officers were called to a domestic disturbance in the 1300 block of West Birchwood Avenue shortly after 2 p.m., police said.
After officers arrived, a male barricaded himself in an apartment, police said. The subject is now in police custody.
About 4 p.m., a female, whose age was not immediately known, exited the apartment and was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston in good condition, authorities said.
