Thieves Lift More Bras At Victoria's Secret In South Barrington

(STMW) -- Shoplifters have again targeted the Victoria's Secret in northwest suburban South Barrington, stealing nearly $2,000 worth of bras and underwear.

The first of two incidents was reported Jan. 29, after 12 bras priced at $55 each were taken from the store, 100 W. Higgins Road, Pioneer Press is reporting. According to police reports, a store employee told investigators a man and two women were involved.

On Feb. 1, the store reported that a man and a woman stole 100 pairs of underwear valued at $1,250. A store employee told police the two looked similar to the group that robbed the store three days earlier. The suspects were seen driving away in an off-white Chrysler minivan, police said.

The recent theft follows a string of bra thefts late last year.

On Dec. 6, 15 to 20 bras valued at about $1,000 were taken off a display table.

On Nov. 26 and Nov. 9, thieves made off with a total of 72 bras valued at about $3,690.
