Man Shot Dead In Ford Heights
FORD HEIGHTS, Ill. (STMW) -- Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man in south suburban Ford Heights.
Chris Walker, 24, was shot about 2:20 a.m. Wednesday in the 1500 block of Embassy Lane in south suburban Ford Heights, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office and Cook County Sheriff's office spokesman Benjamin Breit.
Walker, of the 1100 block of Cottage Grove Avenue in Ford Heights, was pronounced dead at Franciscan St. James Health hospital in Chicago Heights at 3:13 a.m., the medical examiner's office said.
The Cook County Sheriff's department is investigating.
