GARY, Ind. (STMW) — A three-vehicle crash – involving a semi – left at least one male injured and closed eastbound lanes of Interstate 80/94 in northwest Indiana early Thursday.

Two vehicles and a semi crashed about 4:20 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of I-80/94 near Grant Street in Gary, Ind., according to Indiana State Police.

One male, whose age and condition were not immediately known, was injured in the crash, police said.

As of 5:15 a.m., all eastbound lanes of the expressway were still closed, police said.

Indiana State Police are investigating.
