CHICAGO (CBS) -- Singles in Chicago looking for "relationship formation" had better rent a U-Haul, according to an analysis by Facebook.
"Relationship formation" is Facebook's romantic term for finding a boyfriend, or girlfriend, and, who knows, eventually a husband or wife.
Additionally, if you want to hang out with a lot of single people, move to Detroit.
Here are the top five major cities with the most single people, according to Facebook data:
1. Detroit, MI
2. Los Angeles, CA
3. New York, NY
4. Miami, FL
5. Memphis, TN
On the other hand, if you are looking for love, here are the top five cities that Facebook says offer the "largest probability of relationship formation" for a single person:
1. Colorado Springs, CO
2. El Paso, TX
3. Louisville, KY
4. Fort Worth, TX
5. San Antonio, TX
If you are a man looking to meet women, but not settle down right away, head to:
1. Memphis, TN
2. Jacksonville, FL
3. Fort Worth, TX
4. Charlotte, NC
5. Richmond, VA
Those cities have the highest proportion of single females to single males.
Conversely, if you are a woman in a similar situation, here are you best options:
1. San Francisco, CA
2. San Jose, CA
3. Seattle, WA
4. Salt Lake City, UT
5. San Diego, CA
Facebook analyzed data over the months of October and November 2013.
For the purposes of this analysis, Facebook looked at people 21 or older.
