Men Wanted For Trying To Lure Teen In Lincoln Square

CHICAGO (STMW) -- Chicago Police have issued an alert warning of two men who tried to lure a 15-year-old girl into a car on the Northwest Side in the Lincoln Square neighborhood Saturday night.

The teen was walking in the 2900 block of West Foster Avenue about 5:40 p.m. when two men pulled up and tried to engage her in conversation and get her into their car, according to an alert issued early Sunday by Area North detectives.

The teen did not speak to the men and ran to safety, police said.

Police describe the vehicle as an older model white four-door car.

The driver was a Hispanic man, between 25-35 years old, police said. The passenger was also a Hispanic man, between 25-35, with short black hair and a medium complexion. That person was wearing a black or dark-colored jacket and blue jeans.

Anyone with information about the vehicle or men should contact detectives at (312) 744-8200.
