(CBS) Former San Diego State running back Adam Muema left the NFL Combine in Indianapolis on Sunday before working out because he said he was “following God,” who told him if he left, he’d achieve his dream of playing for the Seattle Seahawks, USA Today reported.

“Can’t go wrong with God,” Muema told the newspaper.

Muema ran for 1,244 yards and 15 touchdowns for the Aztecs in his junior season 2013, then declared early for the NFL Draft. He was projected to be a late-round pick. He can still work out for interested NFL teams at San Diego State’s pro day in March.
