One Dead In Fulton River District Fire
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Firefighters found a man dead inside a townhome in the Fulton River District, while responding to a fire late Wednesday morning.
Crews responded around 10:30 a.m. to reports of a mattress fire in the 300 block of North Canal Street. During an initial search of the building, crews found a man dead inside, according to the Fire Department.
No other injuries were reported.
The Police Bomb and Arson Unit was called to the scene to investigate.
