(CBS) The Bulls have expressed interest in signing forward Caron Butler, who was bought out by the Milwaukee Bucks, according to the Chicago Tribune and Yahoo Sports.
Still, the Thunder and Heat remain the favorites to land Butler’s services, Yahoo’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported.
The Bulls hope to sign a 13th player for the remainder of the season soon, the Tribune reported. ESPN’s Marc Stein also tweeted that Chicago has emerged as a candidate for guard Jimmer Fredette, whose buyout from the Kings is expected to be completed today, according to multiple reports.
Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau has said he’d like to add more shooting to the roster for the stretch run.
