Woman Charged With Stealing Wallets From Loop Gym

(STMW) -- Bond was set at $100,000 for a South Side woman who allegedly stole wallets from a Loop gym's locker room and was caught on camera using the credit cards at several stores.

Tishunda Jordan, 33, of the 7900 block of South Marshfield Avenue, was charged with burglary, identity theft and two counts of forgery, according to Chicago Police.

On Jan. 4, Jordan allegedly entered a gym in the 0-100 block of East Randolph Street under the pretense of working out, a statement from police said.

She entered the locker room and cut the locks off two lockers with bolt cutters, then stole wallets and credit cards, police said. She was later caught on camera using the credit cards at several stores.

Jordan was ordered held in lieu of $100,000 bond Friday, according to the Cook County Sheriff's office. Her next court date is scheduled for March 13.
