Older Man Asks 22-Year-Old For A Date, Touches Her Inappropriately When She Refuses

MOUNT PROSPECT (CBS) – A man in his fifties asked a woman out for a date and then inappropriately touched her when she turned him down outside a Mail Box Plus store in Mount Prospect, say police, who issued a sketch of the battery suspect.

The 22-year-old victim reportedly pushed the offender away, prompting the man to flee in a black four-door vehicle. The incident occurred on Feb. 12 in the 1500 block of North Elmhurst Road, according to a Mount Prospect community alert issued Saturday.

The 5-foot, 5-inch-tall suspect is described as being between 50 and 60 years old, 150 pounds and having a protruding stomach. He's losing his dark-colored hair and walked while "leaning back and to the right," the community alert said.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at (847) 870-5654.
