Bears Re-Sign Tackle Eben Britton

(CBS) The Bears have signed tackle Eben Britton to a one-year deal, the team announced Thursday.

The 6-foot-6, 308-pound Britton appeared in the final 13 games of last season for the Bears, starting four of them as a sixth eligible linemen. Prior to that, Britton played four seasons for the Jaguars. He has 34 career starts, 23 at right tackle, seven at left guard and the four as a sixth lineman.
