CHICAGO (CBS) — Runners hoping to take part in the Chicago Marathon this year have until noon to register for the lottery to get in.

You can get in by running for an official marathon charity, or by being a legacy finisher if you finished a Chicago Marathon five or more times in the past decade.READ MORE: Illinois House Committee Advances Bill That Would Require Life Rings Along Lakefront
You also can get into the marathon by joining the International Tour Group Program; or if your official marathon time is 3 hours 15 minutes or better for men, or 3 hours 45 minutes or better for women.
