RICHMOND, Ill. (STMW) — A man was ejected from his motorcycle Saturday after making contact with a Freightliner truck in northwest suburban Richmond.
The incident happened at 5:18 p.m. in the 3900 block of U.S. Route 12, according to a statement from the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office. The 19-year-old motorcyclist has been identified as Kyle A. Marriner, according to the statement. He was flown by Flight for Life to Advocate Condell Medical Center in north suburban Libertyville where he is in critical condition.

Marriner was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and alcohol is not thought to have played a factor, according to the sheriff’s office.
