Chicago Blackhawks Release 2014-15 Schedule

(CBS) -- The Chicago Blackhawks will begin the 2014-15 season on October 9 in Dallas in their quest to regain the Stanley Cup after losing to the Los Angeles Kings. The Blackhawks' home opener will take place on October 11 against the Buffalo Sabres.

The Blackhawks will take on the Capitals in Washington D.C. on New Year's Day for the NHL's Winter Classic.
