(CBS) The Blackhawks have re-signed center Peter Regin to a one-year, $650,000 deal, according to TSN’s Bob McKenzie and the Chicago Sun-Times’ Mark Lazerus.
The Blackhawks acquired the 28-year-old Regin midway through last season in a trade with the Islanders, and he had two goals and two assists in 17 games with Chicago.
Regin was originally a third-round pick of Ottawa in the 2004 draft.
