(CBS) The Bears offense was elite and sometimes remarkable last season, and it appears outsiders have taken notice of the man in charge of it.

Chicago quarterback Jay Cutler has the sixth-best odds of winning the 2014 NFL MVP award, according to Bovada. Cutler checks in at 20-1, with five quarterbacks in front of him: Peyton Manning (3-1), Drew Brees (11-2), Aaron Rodgers (15-2), Tom Brady (9-1) and Andrew Luck (16-1).

Bears receiver Brandon Marshall and running back Matt Forte also received recognition, as both were tabbed with underdog 66-1 odds to win the MVP award.

In 11 games last season, Cutler threw for 2,621 yards and 19 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
