CHICAGO (STMW) -- A Near North Side man was charged with injuring a pedestrian after a hit-and-run accident early Wednesday in the Northwest Side Logan Square neighborhood.

The 39-year-old was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in "stable" condition, police said.

Gluckman, of the 800 block of West Blackhawk Street, is charged with one felony count each of aggravated battery causing great bodily harm, aggravated fleeing and leaving the scene of an accident that caused injury, police said.
