(CBS) Oh, the charm of baseball. At heart, the big leaguers still have some Little League in them.
For better and for worse, as Indians outfielder Ryan Rayburn showed last night.
With the game still scoreless last night in the bottom of the eighth, the Royals’ Mike Moustakas lifted a fly ball down the left-field line. Rayburn gave it his all on a diving attempt but couldn’t come up with the catch. It was all set to be a one-out double.
Until Rayburn made one of the worst throws in the history of Major League Baseball. You need to see it to believe it.

Making this even worse? Cleveland starter Corey Kluber was absolutely dealing last night, taking a perfect game into the seventh inning. This was the only run he allowed in a game that Kansas City would win 2-1 in 14 innings.
