(CBS) The White Sox suffering a 16-0 loss to the lowly Rangers last night wasn’t very funny, but there came a light moment when designated hitter Adam Dunn took the mound in the ninth inning of the blowout after begging manager Robin Ventura to pitch.
In one inning, Dunn allowed one run on twi hits and a walk. He topped out at 83 mph on the radar gun. That’s about what you’d expect from a man with 457 career homers.
