Police: 18-Month-Old Girl Thrown From Car
(CBS) -- Chicago Police say a man is in custody for throwing his girlfriend's 18-month-old daughter out a car window on a South Side street early Monday morning.
Police say there was a fight in a car between a 23-year-old woman and her 46-year-old boyfriend around 2:40 a.m. The fight got physical and police say the women's seven-year-old son tried to help his mother and the man beat him and threw the woman's 18-month-old daughter out of the car window.

According to police, the car hit the girl as the man was driving away from the scene near 75th and Cottage Grove.
The girl and her brother were both treated for bruises and minor conditions and their conditions were stable, according to police. The man is in police custody.
