Police say she was stabbed to death inside an empty storage unit. Investigators worked – but the case went cold in 2004.

Then the case was reopened in 2012 – and evidence was resubmitted to the crime lab. Police say witnesses were re-interviewed.

Wednesday, 40-year-old Steven Podkulski was arrested and charged with the murder of Jennifer Boyd.
