Police: Man Shot And Killed In East Garfield Park
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was shot and killed in the East Garfield Park neighborhood Tuesday night, police said.
About 7:17 p.m., the 36-year-old was found shot in the head and chest in the 600 block of North Avers Avenue, police said.
Emergency crews treated him for his injuries at the scene, but he later died, police said.
The Cook County medical examiner's office could not confirm the death Tuesday night.
