Bears Elevate Guard Ryan Groy, Waive Cornerback Teddy Williams

(CBS) -- The Chicago Bears have elevated practice-squad guard Ryan Groy to the 53-man roster and waived cornerback Teddy Williams, the team announced Monday.

Groy joined the NFL this season with Chicago as an undrafted free agent out of Wisconsin. He has spent the first 10 weeks of the season on the Bears' practice squad.

Williams appeared in five games for the Bears this season, recording two special teams tackles.
