Listen: Auburn Now Has A Crazy Caller To Rival Alabama's Phyllis
(CBS) One of our favorite sound bites here at 670 The Score is the famous (infamous?) call from Phyllis from Mulga, Ala., into the Paul Finebaum Show. An ardent supporter of Nick Saban's Crimson Tide, Phyllis legendarily shouts, "The Bama dynasty has just begun" in the most uniquely angry voice.
"Kiss my butt," she then screams. "Roll Tide!"
As it goes in the heated Alabama-Auburn rivalry, the Tiger fans in recent times couldn't contend with Phyllis in the category of most incredulous call from a grown woman. Well, that might have changed earlier this week, when huge Auburn fan Tammy, from Clanton, called into the Paul Finebaum Show to share her incredulity that the Alabama has jumped to No. 1 in the College Football Playoff rankings.
Tammy's call is a classic.
"There's only one Tammy, and that's me," Tammy says before embarking on an epic meltdown.
