CHICAGO (CBS) — More than 100 exhibitors from around the world are participating in Chicago’s annual toy and game expo this weekend.

The 12th annual Chicago Toy and Game Expo is taking place Saturday and Sunday at Navy Pier. The expo drew in over 22,000 people last year, and this year is projected to bring in at least 24,000.

Joshua Tucker is with Spinmaster, a company that owns several toy brands. One of the items they are promoting expo is the “Sew Cool” thread less sewing machine.

“It is actually a stitch, so there are needles but they are protected so what it does is it stiches the fabric so the specially designed fabric that we use, as you feed it through, it actually crawl stitches and uses heat to actually fuse it together,” Tucker said.
