(STMW) — A man died after being shot Tuesday afternoon in the Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.
Tyrone Johnson, 30, was shot in the 3300 block of West Congress about 1:40 p.m., according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 2:16 p.m., the medical examiner’s office said. Johnson lived one block south of the shooting, on Van Buren.
