Bears Sign DE Austen Lane; Willie Young Placed On IR

(CBS) -- The Chicago Bears have signed defensive end Austen Lane to replace the injured Willie Young, who was placed on injured reserve.

In four NFL seasons, Lane has appeared in 30 games and 17 starts with the Jacksonville Jaguars (2010-12) and Detroit Lions (2013). He recorded 64 tackle and three sacks.

The Bears signed Lane in the offseason and released him after the preseason.
