Boy, 16, Shot And Killed In Bronzeville

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A 16-year-old boy was shot to death while walking through a vacant lot in the Bronzeville neighborhood on the South Side Tuesday night, police said.

About 9:50 p.m., Terrell Campbell was walking through a lot in the 300 block of East Pershing Road when two males walked up and shot him in the chest, legs and abdomen, officials said.

Campbell, of the 8800 block of South Wabash Avenue, was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
