Bears Retain WR Coach Mike Groh, Sign LB DeDe Lattimore To Extension

(CBS) The Bears have retained receivers coach Mike Groh, they announced Friday. This will be Groh's third season in Chicago after he previously worked under Marc Trestman.

In Groh's two seasons here, the Bears have produced two of the top three highest passing marks in franchise history, with 4,450 gross passing yards in 2013 (first) and 4,035 gross passing yards in 2014 (third).

After keeping Groh, the Bears just need to hire a running backs coach to round out their staff.

In another move, the Bears have signed linebacker DeDe Lattimore to a two-year extension through the 2016 season. He appeared in 10 games in 2014, his rookie season, recording five special teams tackles. He entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent out of South Florida.
