Katy Perry To Perform With Domestic Violence Survivor at GRAMMYs

The 57th Annual GRAMMY Awards has a long list of duets planned for the big night, but it's who Katy Perry's sharing this stage with this Sunday (Feb. 8) that has people talking.

According to People, Perry will be joined on stage by Brooke Axtell, a domestic violence survivor from Austin, Texas, who will perform a written-word piece during Perry's Prism ballad "By the Grace of God."

"It's an honor to collaborate with Katy in this way. She has been very devoted to various aspects of female empowerment," Axtell, who is an activist for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking, told the mag. "It's going to bring a lot of encouragement and freedom to those who hear my story and know that they are not alone in this."

This news comes after reports that Perry's performance would be "a highly visual spectacle with dance elements playing a central role." We're going to say the sharks will be watching from home this Sunday.

The night will include other sure to be memorable team-ups including this year's GRAMMY nominees Lady Gaga and Tony BennettAnnie Lennox and HozierMary J. Blige and Sam SmithBeck and Chris MartinRihannaKanye West and Paul McCartney, and BeyoncéCommon and John Legend.
