CHICAGO (STMW) — A man was hurt in a drive-by shooting Thursday night on the Interstate 94 Dan Ryan Expressway, near the South Side Grand Crossing neighborhood.

About 9:30 p.m., the 31-year-old was driving north on I-94 near 75th Street when someone in another vehicle fired shots at him, Illinois State Police said, citing preliminary information.

He was shot at least once and drove himself to Saint Bernard Hospital and Health Care Center, where his condition was stabilized, state police said.

Details on the circumstances of the shooting weren’t available Friday morning.
