Sydney Leathers In Another 'Sexting' Controversy
By John Dodge
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A state lawmaker in Indiana has been accused of engaging in a sexually explicit text relationship with Sydney Leathers, the woman at the center of a sex scandal involving ex New York congressman Anthony Weiner.
According to a report from WISH-TV, the lawmaker has been identified as State Rep. Justin Moed, D-Indianapolis.
Moed has not commented on the reports.
Last week, the New York Post reported that Leathers had been exchanging racy texts with a "Democratic state legislator in the Midwest."
"I'm a little speechless," Leathers, a resident of southern Indiana, told the Post. "I Googled him and found out he's a lawmaker. Apparently only politicians can pick up on my pheromones."
A website called, TheDirty.com, has published naked pictures of a man it identifies as Moed.
The site also has photographs of a note, apparently as part of a gift to Leathers, that says, "A gift from Justin Moed."
