Watch: Lady Busy Looking At Cell Phone Gets Crushed In Face By Basketball

(CBS) It's well-known that if you go to a baseball game and sit in in the lower section down the foul lines, it's best to pay keen attention. Otherwise, you might end up with a foul ball or even a broken bat to the head.

While the flying projectile isn't as dangerous, the same goes for basketball if you're sitting in the first couple rows, as a lady found out Wednesday night in (not) watching the Kings-Hornets game.

Sitting in the first row behind the Hornets bench in Charlotte, the lady was entranced in looking at the phone of an acquaintance next to her. As is wont to happen in a game between poor basketball teams, an errant pass went flying over a teammate's head -- and directly in the face of the unsuspecting lady, whose glasses flew off.

To be fair, she didn't get much help from the gentleman sitting beside her. His reaction time was poor and he whiffed in his attempt to stop the ball.
