Woman Struck, Killed By Vehicle In Des Plaines
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A 68-year-old woman was fatally struck by a vehicle late Thursday in northwest suburban Des Plaines.
About 10 p.m., Delores Williams was walking near the intersection of Touhy Avenue and Wolf Road when a vehicle struck her, Des Plaines police said.
Williams, of the 1200 block of South Prairie in Chicago, was taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, where she was pronounced dead at 10:29 p.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
