Man Wounded In South Chicago Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was shot in South Chicago Monday night, the second within an hour in the neighborhood.
About 9:40 p.m., the 22-year-old was walking in the 8100 block of South Phillips Avenue when he heard shots ring out and felt pain, police said.
He took himself to South Shore Hospital with a gunshot wound to his ankle. His condition had stabilized, police said.
