(CBS) The Chicago Bears’ full 2015 schedule was released Tuesday evening, and they’ll open the new season against the Green Bay Packers on Sept. 13.
A year after a disastrous and drama-filled 5-11 season that led to the exit of general manager Phil Emery and coach Marc Trestman, the Bears will play two games in primetime.
For the second straight season, the Bears will play on Thanksgiving, this time against the Green Bay Packers. The other primetime game will be a Monday Night Football matchup with the San Diego Chargers in Week 9.
New head coach John Fox will get the chance to coach against his old team in Week 11 when the Denver Broncos come to Soldier Field.
Other than the six games the Bears play within their division, they play against the NFC West, AFC West and the 2014 last-place finishers in the NFC East (Washington) and NFC South (Tampa Bay).
Here’s a look at the full schedule. All games will be broadcast on WBBM Newsradio 780/105.9. Chicago’s bye comes in Week 7.
