Police: Man Tries To Lure Girl Into His Car In Lincoln Park
(STMW) -- A man tried to lure a young girl into his car Wednesday morning in the North Side Lincoln Park neighborhood.
About 8:30 a.m., the man drove up to the girl in the 500 block of West Grant Place and told her to "get into the car," according to a community alert from Area Central detectives.
The girl refused, screamed and ran away, and the man drove off, police said.
The suspect is described as a white man about 40 with black curly hair and a full beard. He was wearing a long-sleeved blue plaid shirt and driving a newer, white, four-door car with tinted rear windows and black seats.
