CHICAGO (CBS) — The sounds of the 60s are back in Chicago, with the latest run of the popular musical “Jersey Boys.”

It’s a play that hangs on, and draws audiences no matter how often it’s produced.

“Jersey Boys” is the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, their rise to fame and fortune, their fall, and their struggle back.

Matthew Dailey, who plays Tommy DeVito, said the musical transcends generations, but especially resonates with Baby Boomers, for whom the music evokes fond memories.

“Whether it’s dancing to a song at the prom their junior year of high school, or whatever it is, everyone’s got a story,” Dailey said.

The latest tour of Jersey Boys runs through May 24 at the Cadillac Palace Theatre.
