Two Stabbed At Western Brown Line Station

(CBS) – Two people were stabbed at or near the CTA Brown Line station at Western Avenue on Thursday.

Of the two victims, a 20-year-old male sustained multiple stab wounds to his upper body and was transported to Illinois Masonic Hospital in critical condition, Chicago Police News Affairs said.

An 18-year-old female victim was stabbed in the arm. She was stable at Swedish Covenant Hospital, police said.

Police say the stabbings occurred around 4:30 p.m. in the 4600 block of North Western Avenue, the address of the L station and bus transfer center, when the victims had an altercation with two males.
