Man Shot And Killed In Burnside
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was shot to death in the Burnside neighborhood on the South Side Thursday night, according to police.
About 9:45 p.m., officers on patrol near the 1300 block of East 94th Street heard gunfire and found a man, thought to be in his early 20s, unresponsive on the ground with a gunshot wound to the head, police News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines said. He was dead at the scene, Gaines said.
The Cook County medical examiner's office could not immediately confirm the fatality.
