It's The 5-Year Anniversary Of Patrick Kane's Stanley Cup-Winning Goal

(CBS) It was five years ago today that the Blackhawks' run of dominance really took off.

On June 9, 2010, Patrick Kane sealed Chicago's first Stanley Cup title since 1961 with the biggest goal of his career.

Tied 3-3 against the Flyers just more than four minutes into overtime in Game 6 in Philadelphia, Kane took the puck near the left boards, then faked and skated left with the puck. From a tough angle, Kane flicked a low shot through the five-hole of Flyers goalie Michael Leighton for the win, setting off a wild celebration by the Blackhawks.

It was start of a truly special run that also included a 2013 Stanley Cup and has continued up until today, when Chicago trails 2-1 in the Stanley Cup Final against Tampa Bay ahead of Wednesday's Game 4.
