Man Charged With Stabbing Roommate In Hermosa
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A Hermosa man was charged with domestic battery after stabbing his roommate in the abdomen late Sunday, police said.
Azarkhad Batdorj, 35, was charged with felony aggravated domestic battery in connection with the stabbing the stabbing that occurred about 11:45 p.m. Sunday in the 4000 block of West Palmer Street, police said Monday night.
Officers on patrol found the 23-year-old roommate outside with a stab wound to the abdomen, police said. He told officers his roommate had stabbed him with a kitchen knife in their apartment.
He was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he remained in critical condition late Monday, police said.
Batdorj is scheduled to appear in bond court Tuesday.
