Suspect Shoots At Police On The Edge of Logan Square And Avondale
CHICAGO (CBS) -- According to residents on the 2800 block of North Mozart Street, a man shot at Chicago police officers as they chased him into an alley.
On Thursday night at approximately 8:00 p.m., witnesses say a man ran into an alleyway connecting the 2800 blocks of Mozart Street and Francisco Avenue, and shot at police.
A Chicago police officer on the scene confirmed that there had been a shooting, though would not elaborate further.
Witnesses say police have the suspect is in custody.
According to police on the scene, there were no injuries.
