CHICAGO (STMW) — Three people were shot late Sunday in the Hermosa neighborhood on the Northwest Side.
The group was standing outside in the 2100 block of North Kilpatrick Avenue about 11:45 p.m. when someone walked up and fired shots into the crowd before running away, police said.
A 21-year-old woman was shot in the leg and taken in good condition to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, police said.
A 15-year-old boy suffered a graze wound to his elbow and was taken in good condition to Community First Medical Center, police said.
A third victim, a 20-year-old man, suffered a graze wound to his ankle and refused medical attention at the scene.
