Bulls Hire Pete Myers As Assistant Coach

(CBS) The Bulls have hired Pete Myers as an assistant on new coach Fred Hoiberg's staff, the team announced Thursday afternoon.

This will be Myers' second stint in Chicago, as he was with the organization from 2000 to 2011 as a scout (2000-'01 and 2011) and as an assistant coach (2001-'10). Myers then spent 2011-'14 as an assistant on then-coach Mark Jackson's staff in Golden State.

Myers joins a staff that also has Jim Boylen as associate head coach.
