(CBS) — Chicago police are searching for a man who started a fire in a business in the Avondale neighborhood Friday afternoon that critically injured a woman, police said.
The 45-year-old man entered the business on the third floor of a building in the 3000 block of West Belmont at around 4:35 p.m. and began knocking over and throwing equipment, police said. The man then took out a gasoline container, set the gas on fire and fled the scene, police said.
A 44-year-old woman suffered burns on her body and was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in serious condition.
No arrests have been made but police say they know who they are looking for.
