Woman Leaving Tinley Park Concert Fatally Struck By Vehicle

(STMW) -- A 54-year-old pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash after attending a concert in south suburban Tinley Park early Saturday.

About 12:15 a.m., Luisa Domantay was walking in the 19100 block of South Oak Park Avenue after the concert at Hollywood Casino Amphitheater when a vehicle heading southwest on Oak Park struck her, then fled the scene, Tinley Park police said in a statement.

Domantay, of Green Oak, was taken to Silver Cross Hospital, where she later died, police said.

Police say they are looking for a dark-colored Jeep Grand Cherokee believed to be a 2005 model with damage on the front end and on the right side.

Police did not have a car description on Saturday. Anyone with information is asked to call the police department at (708) 444-5300.
